Bona Gap Master is an acrylic based mastic for sealing gaps towards skirting boards and thresholds in connection to wooden floors.

It can also be used to repair damages and to fill gaps and cracks in the floor.

Bona GapMaster is not suitable for filling gaps within plank or end-grain floors.

Only fill gaps where relatively little movement can be expected.

Ensure that surfaces to which the product is to be applied are clean, dry and free of any contamination or loose matter.

When repairing wider gaps in the floor then first prepare the gap with rope or foam backing rod.

Minimum temperature for use is 13C.

How To Use Bona gap master

Ensure that surfaces to which the product is to be applied are clean, dry and free of any contamination or loose matter.

When repairing wider gaps in the floor then first prepare the gap with rope or foam backing rod.

Minimum temperature for use is 13C. 

The mastic bead may be sanded after 18 - 24 hours and overcoated with varnish or paint if required.

The volume of material applied and prevailing site conditions will affect this timescale and extend or shorten the drying time.
