It is both stain and moisture resistant and non-yellowing.

preparation

Details

Ensure surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease.

Remove all loose and defective paint. Seal absorbent surfaces with a solution of up to 1 part water to 4 parts Hardwearing Matt.

Prime bare timber and metal surfaces with the appropriate Primer.

Rub down sound previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrsive paper and rinse thoroughly before applying a pre-coat of Leyland Trade Acrylic Primer Undercoat.

Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.

Special precautions should be taken during preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.

Application

Details

Stir well before use and apply by brush, roller or spray.

When using a roller, use a medium pile synthetic type.

Do not overfill the tray.

Ensure roller is loaded evenly. If using a brush, load generously.

Apply liberally and evenly; avoid overspreading.

Under normal conditions, allow 4 hours before applying a second coat if required.

Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 10°C.
