how to apply remmers finishing paint
Wood used in outdoor areas that needs protection against blue stain, soft rot and insects that destroy wood should be pre-treated with a wood preservative.
Wood in indoor areas does not need to be treated with a wood preservative primer before coating.
To prevent coloured substances in the wood from bleeding through white or light shades of Finishing Paint, the substrate should be primed first with Sealing Primer.
The surface of the wood must be clean and dry.
Remove old, nonadhering coatings.
Stir Finishing Paint well and apply with quick strokes using a brush or roller.
A second coat is applied after the first coat has dried (approx. 2-4 hours).
